You’ve found the blog of Alice. I’m currently a senior Electrical/Computer Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. While I’m currently being bombarded with senior projects and trying to survive the chaos that is the ECE department, I’ve decided to start a blog. Why? I’ve decided as part of my 2017 New Year’s resolution that I would document my life more. And since writing in a journal is so tedious and bores me after while, so I had to think of an alternative. Hence the blog; instead of keeping my thoughts and opinions to myself, why not post them up on the internet for the occasional lurker to find?
If you’re following me, then you’ll see hopefully bi-weekly(??) blog posts about my life, which includes some (but not limited to): amateur photography, beginner baked goods, and some awkward text posts about my life. If you’re interested in those things, then feel free to follow along as I try to find my way through my life also.
What type of camera do you use?
Still a beginner, so I’m using a basic DSLR camera body for now. It is a Nikon D3300, and I have the basic kit 18-55mm lens. I also decided that a 50mm f/1.8G lens would be worth the money, and I was correct, as it is the perfect lens to take pictures of food and people, my favorite things.
How can I contact you?
Probably through my email, but please don’t sign me up for spam. The email is firstname.lastname@example.org . Yes I know, no one knows what @sbcglobal is anymore. It’s dead. Except I still use it. So yeah.
How ’bout other social media?
Yes, it’s all at the bottom of every page. I also have a post that links all my social media accounts. But I mainly post on my instagram, so follow @picsbyalice for pictures of my life, and @treatsbyalice for the meals in my life!
